Sonic Mania mixes remixed zones from the Genesis games with new ones, built by Christian Whitehead's team on the Retro Engine. The Plus edition adds Mighty and Ray, Encore Mode and four-player competition.

This web port runs it on the RSDK engine compiled for the browser. The page credits Crunch Arcade for the port and downloads about 200 MB before the title screen. A mirror also runs on hedgeplays2.github.io.

How to play Sonic Mania Plus

  1. Press Play. The port opens in a new tab and shows a download counter.
  2. Wait for about 200 MB to load, then press any button on the title screen.
  3. Pick Mania Mode to start the zones in order.

  • Hold down and press jump to Spin Dash from a standstill.
